Announced at the Kansai Smart Cell Forum 2021
At the Kansai Smart Cell Forum 2021 held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, Yamada, Section Manager of the Business Development Group at the General Research Institute, gave a presentation on "Protein synthesis services using koji mold, genetically modified silkworms, and cell-free systems."
Smart Cell Industry is an initiative to maximize the capabilities of biological cells and apply them to manufacturing. Using the biotechnology of our central research institute, we are conducting research and development with various companies and universities to accelerate this initiative.
