Presented at the 75th Annual Meeting of the Society for Biotechnology, Japan
At the 75th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Biotechnology, held at Nagoya University from September 3rd (Sun) to 5th (Tue), 2023, Professor Senba of the Biosciences Group, Research Institute, gave a presentation titled "Heterologous expression of a hyperthermostable endoglucanase derived from Pyrococcus furiosus and thermostability enhancement by glycosylation."
This presentation was also selected as one of the "Topics of 2023" as a topic of high social and academic importance from a bioengineering perspective.

This research was conducted in collaboration with Professor Kazuhiko Ishikawa of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
This enzyme is expected to be useful for the saccharification of biomass at high temperatures.
We will continue to conduct research and development with various companies and universities, and contribute to society using biotechnology developed through brewing.
