At the "2023 National New Sake Tasting Competition," co-hosted by the National Research Institute of Brewing and the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, Ozeki's "Kouwagura" won the Gold Award for the third consecutive year, and "Kotobukigura" also won an award. The National New Sake Tasting Competition is the only nationwide competition that judges the quality of sake brewed that year.
