To coincide with the Lighthouse Memorial Day, we will be holding a public event at Imazu Lighthouse on Saturday, November 2nd, in collaboration with the Kobe Coast Guard Office of the Japan Coast Guard and the Nishinomiya City Cultural Properties Division (Local History Museum).
*November 1st is Lighthouse Memorial Day (Japan Coast Guard)
*The week from November 1st is Cultural Heritage Protection Emphasis Week (Agency for Cultural Affairs).

・Opening of the lighthouse interior (explanation of the Imazu Lighthouse by a curator from the Nishinomiya City Cultural Properties Division)
・Distribution of cultural property cards (specially made by Nishinomiya City)
・Panel exhibits (lighthouse history, relocation construction records)
・Lighthouse Stamp Rally by Kobe Coast Guard
A stamp rally to visit three distinctive lighthouses under the jurisdiction of the Kobe Coast Guard

②11/2 (Sat) Ozeki Sake Brewery Imazu Lighthouse (Imazu Lighthouse commemorative stamp)
3. November 11rd (Sun) Esaki Lighthouse, Awaji City
・Photo spots (decorative barrels, Kagami-biraki ceremony)

How to get there

If you are driving, please use the temporary parking lot.
・If you are walking, please use the shuttle bus from the parking lot of Amakara Sekijuan.
*The shuttle bus will start operating from around 12:00.
*There are no crosswalks near Imazu Lighthouse.
