Limited-quantity release of "Ozeki Nada no Nama Ippon (2023 Nada Sake Research Association) 720ml bottle"
Our company will be releasing a limited quantity of "Ozeki Nada no Kiippon (2023 Nada Sake Research Association) 720ml bottle," a special junmai sake certified as a GI Nada Gogo*, from Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

What is "Nada no Kiippon"?
This is a Nada Sake Research Association unified brand product that was launched in 2011 and has been well received.
The brewing engineers of the Nada Gogo (Nada Sake Research Association) have pooled their wisdom to create pure rice sake that makes the most of the characteristics of each manufacturer, creating new appeal for Nada sake and revitalizing Nada, the sake-producing region.
This year, eight breweries (Sawanotsuru, Kenbishi, Hakutsuru, Kikumasamune, Sakuramasamune, Hamafukutsuru, Hakushika, and Ozeki) will release their products simultaneously on Tuesday, September 5th.
This year, all of our products are bottled in environmentally friendly eco-friendly bottles made from over 90% recycled glass from collected glass bottles.
Features of "Ozeki Nada no Kiippon"
This special pure rice sake is made using 100% Ozeki's proprietary rice variety "Inishie no Mai"* and brewed with the famous Miyamizu water.
This year's "Ozeki Nada no Kiippon" is a crisp sake that still retains the flavor of rice.
* "Inishie no Mai" is a cross between "Hyogo Yumenishiki," a strain of "Yamada Nishiki," and "Waseda Ozeki," which Ozeki revived in 1996. Ozeki independently developed it as rice suitable for sake brewing, and it was registered as a variety in 2007. [Registration number 14777] Because it has a low protein content, when used in sake brewing, it has no off-flavors and brings out the umami of the rice.
*The Nada Sake Research Society was established in 1917 (Taisho 6). It is a research group that brings together sake brewing engineers from the Nada Gogo region and neighboring areas to work on improving sake brewing techniques.
*The geographical indication "GI Nada Gogo" is a geographical indication system that protects sake made in Nada Gogo, designated by the National Tax Agency on June 28, 2018. Sake that bears the name "GI Nada Gogo" must meet the following production standards to guarantee the characteristics of the alcoholic beverage.
