Nikusui no Moto is a single-serving seasoning that has been a favorite primarily in the Kansai area since its release in 2020. Utilizing the fermentation techniques cultivated through Ozeki's unique sake brewing, it is richly flavored, based on a fragrant dashi stock made from bonito flakes and kelp. Furthermore, the addition of beef extract deepens the umami flavor, creating a gentle yet deep flavor that harmonizes with the dashi stock. It also contains powdered sake lees produced in-house by Ozeki. This ingredient contains approximately nine times the umami components (amino acids and organic acids)* of regular sake lees, resulting in a richer, fuller flavor.

In this renewal, the design has been changed to intuitively convey the deliciousness of the finished product by placing a large image of the product after cooking.
