The National Research Institute of Brewing, an independent administrative agency held the 2019 Annual Japan Sake Award Competition in cooperation with the Japan Sake & Shochu Makers Association. Ozeki’s [Kotobuki Brewery] and [Kouwa Brewery] along with the group company, [Echigo Sake Brewery] were awarded Gold Prizes for their sakes.
The Annual Japan Sake Awards measures the craftsmanship of sake manufactured for the year and is the only competition for sake on a national scale.
Ozeki Sake has been awarded the Gold Prize for 16 consecutive years and its breweries, [Kotobuki] and [Kouwa] have been awarded for 3 consecutive years.
